Creation of a paternity leave. The bill plans the creation of a paternity leave, enforced gradually, which will last one week from 2010 and two weeks from 2011. The father can take it any time until the child’s first birthday. The employee must fill a written application at the latest 7 days before the leave begins, and the employer can’t say no. This leave is paid by the social security.
