Poland: the labour inspectorate and unions signed cooperation agreements on the prevention of work accidents and occupational diseases

Three representational unions (union forum – FZZ, Solidarnosc and the Polish union alliance – OPZZ) signed, on February 26, bilateral cooperation agreements with the National Work Inspectorate, in which they set trends for the prevention of health and security at work. (Ref. 070187)

The agreements notably plan:

  • common initiatives in order to prevent and suppress danger on workplaces;
  • the transmission of information through unions to the national labour inspectorate on cases of non respect of regulation in terms of security and hygiene at work;
  • common information campaigns in the field of prevention, notably through the organization of seminars and conferences;
  • the organization of the advices activities in the fields of health and security at work;
  • common training initiativ
