…Spain: how small Spanish organizations are fostering equal opportunities in the workplace
Equal opportunity plans are voluntary for companies or entities with less than 250 employees, according to Law 3/2007 of 22 March 2007. In 2012, 21 percent of all companies awarded the label "Equality at the workplace" were small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In qualitative terms, this is a remarkable achievement. Minimum requirements for earning this label apply equally to all companies, regardless of their size or legal form. Three small Spanish organizations which have earned this label tell Planet Labor about their equal-opportunity practices. (Ref. 120639)
