On 4 December, UK Home Secretary James Cleverly announced to Parliament that the rules for obtaining a skilled worker visa would be tightened. The minimum wage required will rise from £26,200 to £38,700 (€30,555 and €45,143 respectively) from next spring, which is the median wage for this type of job.
