46,000 United Auto Workers (UAW) members working at General Motors (GM) have entered their fourth week of strike action as both the trade union and GM management teams remain firmly camped in their diametrically opposed camps.
‘We couldn’t be more disappointed,” UAW negotiations head, Terry Dittes wrote over the 05-06 October weekend, adding “Labor talks have taken a turn for the worse,” as strike action, which started on 16 September carries into its fourth consecutive week.
