The news. On 26 March, US President Donald Trump reaffirmed his hostility towards corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies. He signed an executive order prohibiting employers under contract with federal agencies from pursuing “racially discriminatory” diversity policies. Regarding recruitment, promotions, or commercial activities, these are defined by “disparate treatment based on race or ethnicity”.
