The receiver of Camaïeu fashion retailer (placed in liquidation in late September 2022, with 500 stores) announced the sale of the brand, the domain name, the logos and the customer base (3.8 million customers) on 7 December. The auction house estimated the total value to be between €1.5 and €2 million, with a starting price of €500,000.
According to the auctioneer, “20% of the bidders showed interest in the customer base by depositing a deposit of €50,000”. This is a significant figure.
