In Dubai malls, vacancy slightly increased to 9% in Q4 2016 (vs. 8% one year earlier). Last year, Dubai’s retail sector added 260,000 retail sq.m, the highest volume since 2010, including the expansion of Dubai Festival City, The Avenue in City Walk and Ibn Battuta Mall amid a slower retail demand.
