In late October 2019, the 2nd Galeries Lafayette store opened in Shanghai. Covering 25,000 sq.m GLA, it is located in the Lujiazui business district in Pudong, within the L + Mall. According to Nicolas Houzé, C.E.O. of the Group, this store was entirely financed by the revenue of the Beijing unit (opened in 2013), which moved to profit in only 3 years. The store features exclusive collections, both from Western designers like Paco Rabanne, (entering China for the first time) and local crafts. G
