According to Adobe, the percentage of online orders paid for with BNPL grew by 14% in 2022 in the U.S.A. In January and February 2023, the increase rose by 10% year-on-year. However, it would appear that users of this payment method are experiencing cost-of-living difficulties. In the first two months of the year, the proportion of orders for necessities (food, beverages) paid for using BNPL jumped by 40% compared with the same period in 2022.
