After filing a complaint with the High Court in New Delhi, German footwear brand Birkenstock (revenue for the year ending September 30, 2024: 1.8 billion euros, up 22% at constant rates) obtained inspections and seizures in India. These concern 4 factories near the tourist area of Agra and 4 shoe retailers in the same area, Reuters reported on July 7. In India, the brand is represented by the law firm Lall and Sethi.
