According to Eurostat, the EU‘s statistical agency, the Eurozone recorded a high average in April 2022: the annual inflation rate was 7.4% (in annual terms, i.e., April 2022 compared to April 2021). It remained stable compared to March. A year earlier it stood at 1.6%.
For the European Union, the annual inflation rate reached 8.1% in April 2022, compared with 7.8% in March. A year earlier it was 2.0%.
The lowest inflation rates were observed in France, Malta (both 5.4%) and Finland (5.8%)....
