On September 9, Swedish payment company Klarna, known for buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) solutions, raised US$1.37 billion in an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This values the fintech company at US$15 billion. In Q2 2025, Klarna’s revenue climbed 20% to US$823 million. However, losses widened from US$18 million a year ago to US$53 million.
