In December 2016, the U.K. sporting goods retailer opened a flagship store within the Pavilion mall in Kuala Lumpur (selling space of 1,265 sq.m GLA). It the largest JD Sports store in Southeast Asia and the 2nd Malaysian unit, after the 1st unit in Sunway Pyramid mall, opened in January 2016. According to our sources, its local partner is the local firm “Sports Empire”.
