In terms of omnichannel retail, electronic shelf labels (ESL) play a central role as a tool linking digital to physical stores. This is the case at the Auchan grocery retailer. After renewing a five-year contract with Hanshow in 2022 (turnover 2022 was €200 million) for the French market, the grocery retailer is now finalizing the roll-out of these connected objects across the rest of the stores and views extra functionalities.
