PayPal will soon be offering personalised adverts to British customers, based on their spending on the platform. The payment giant is gradually launching PayPal Ads in the U.K., showing first adverts from July 2025. PayPal emphasises that the company can rely on detailed data from payment backgrounds – not only the brand, but also the products purchased and their quantities. This data is lacking, for example, for players using open banking, who only retrieve the total amount of the purchase.
