According to Dunnhumby‘s Consumer Pulse global survey edited at the end of May 2022, perceived inflation on food prices is significantly higher than measured inflation. In May 2022, food inflation reached 10.1% in the U.S.A., 11% in Germany and in Spain, 7.5% in Italy and only 4.3% in France.
