Eager to gain traction in North America and to compete with aggressive rival Ulta Beauty, Sephora will open around 100 medium-sized stores covering around 370 sq.m in the United States and Canada. The beauty retailer (part of the LVMH Group) is targeting 75 cities where it has little presence, such as Charlotte (North Carolina), Nashville (Tennessee) and San Jose (California).
