On January 21 2025, US companies received Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14173 entitled ‘Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity’. German software publisher SAP has decided to fall into line. On May 9, SAP (2024 revenue: US$34.18 billion, up by 9.5%, net margin ratio at 9.2%) decided to remove key elements of its diversity policy.
