TikTok Shop, the social network’s e-commerce solution, could lose more than US$500 million in the U.S.A. in 2023, according to an article by The Information published on August 23rd. The media outlet reports that the losses are justified by a massive investment in recruitment, setting up a logistics network and subsidising merchants to offer discounts to users.
