Acceptance rates, customer relations, impact on sales teams... At Tech for Retail in Paris, Mind Retail delved into the details of the test carried out in four French branches of Vorwerk, the manufacturer of Thermomix food processors and Kobold vacuum cleaners.
Since September 30, sales staff at Vorwerk (sales of €3.21 billion in 2023, up 1.2%, via a direct sales model based mainly in Europe) adopted the Younited Pay financing solution at 95 French branches. Customers pay for equipment in 10 to 48 monthly instalments for purchases of up to €6,000, via a fully digital solution alternating between “free of charge ‘ for special operations (Christmas, Ramadan…) and “with Annual Percentage Rate of Charge” the rest of the time.
