The news. On 2 June, among the measures to be implemented by Denmark’s new centre-left minority government, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced the suspension of the increase in the eligibility age for the early retirement scheme (Arnepension), which had originally been scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027.
