The way the European group EADS is going to deal with the employees' information and consultation procedure as part of the presentation of the measures – which will affect the personnel – of the Power 8 reorganization plan, will be observed in detail and will be a reference, given the group's very European character, for the coming reorganizations in other groups with a similar dimension. During the development of Airbus’ reorganization plan, the European work’s council and the management agreed on a “dialogue procedure” in order to organize employees’ information and consultation on the Power 8 plan. This procedure, presented during one of EADS EWC’s meetings, on December 15, 2006, (see our dispatch n° 061010,) is setting the frame for the informal dialogue with the personnel’s representative and the representative of the legal procedure.
