Since the proposition didn’t include independent workers, the socialists, the Green party and the UEN (sovereigntists) presented an amendment proposing to reject the text. Adopted by the Parliamentary Committee in early March, the amendment was ratified by the Plenary Assembly on Tuesday. The European executive now has to revise its text. (Ref. 090486)
