The consolidated version of the treaty on European union and the treaty on the functioning of the European union have been published in the OJEU on may 9, 2008, for Europe Day. These treaties include the amendments brought by the Treaty of Lisbon. (Ref. 080378)
The following have been published in the OJEU of May 9:
- The Treaty on European Union: this text notably sets the EU’s objectives and values. Article 3.3 states that the Union shall “establish an internal market” and “work for the sustainable development of Europe based on balanced economic growth and price stability, a highly competitive social market economy, aiming at full employment and social progress (…)”.
