The European Parliament adopted, on September 25, 2007, the reports composing the "third railway package", that is to say the draft directives on the opening and the liberalization of the railway market, passengers' rights and train drivers' license. This article is about the last one. These texts, coming from a conciliation between the Parliament and the Council, which took place on June 21, yet have to be adopted by the latter to come into force. (Ref 070787)
The Parliament adopted, on September 25, the directive “on the certification of train drivers operating locomotives and trains on the Community’s rail system”.
