Systra Group, which has 2,000 employees in France, has called on recruitment firm Headhunting Factory in its effort to hire technicians and engineers. Amid a phase of growth, during which it has experienced a sharp rise in recruitment needs, the company has had to innovate to fill shortage positions.
In the space of one year, Systra’s workforce has grown by 18%. “It’s a question of context and activity; we’re in an extremely competitive market, with a huge number of projects in France, as well as internationally, a shortage of human resources and competition that continues to grow, whatever the company,” explains Ophélie Menuet, HR, internal mobility and recruitment manager, who works in particular for the transport systems and urban projects branch. The company, majority-owned by France’s state-owned rail company SNCF and Paris transport operator RATP, provides technical expertise to rail operators and equipment manufacturers such as Alstom and Siemens.
