The national assembly approved, on January 16, 2008, the bill concerning the enforcement of the European legislation concerning the statute of the European Cooperative Society and the protection of employees in the event of the insolvency of their employer. The law implements Directive 2003/72/EC of July 22, 2003 supplementing the statute of the European Cooperative Society (ECS) with regard to the involvement of employees.
