The Ministers' Council (Bundeskabinett) adopted, on Wednesday, November 13, 2007, a bill which concerns both labour courts and "social”"courts (cases depending from social security law). The bill presents no basic reform but rather a series of small amendments aiming at making procedures smoother and faster. (Ref. 070950)
Concerning social courts, the bill the Ministers’ Council adopted last Wednesday has a clear goal. It must provide a concrete answer to the complaints’ burst which the implementation of the reform on unemployment insurance (Hartz IV) and its amendments sparked off.
