Whereas a new law on industrial accidents recently came into force, the health and safety at work institution updated its advice on the behavior employers and managers should adopt after an industrial accident. (Ref. 080644)

When a deadly accident happens in a company (or a death caused by an occupational disease), the employer has to carry out an internal investigation which notably includes the Police.
