Under the aegis of the UK’s Conservative government, private companies and public institutions have committed to recruiting using name-blind CVs, to fight against discrimination.
HSBC, Deloitte, Virgin Money, KPMG, BBC, the National Health Service, the civil service, local authorities; brought together by David Cameron at 10 Downing Street, these companies and public institutions — employing a total of 1.8 million people — committed, in black and white, to fighting discrimination with the help of name-blind CVs.
