The news. The transposition of the European pay transparency directive was published in the Official Gazette of Malta on 5 June 2026. It directly implements the individual provisions of the text: the ban on asking for a candidate’s salary history, the obligation to display a salary range in job offers and employees’ right to information regarding their remuneration.
