The Mexican government is regularly highlighting progress on the implementation of the country’s most ambitious ever labor reform program that is dedicated to freedom of association and to a thorough modernization of the labor justice system.
“It is commendable that US legislators are so concerned by Mexican working conditions,” President López Obrador stated during his 11 October morning press conference, continuing, “They seek union democracy and freedom in Mexico, and we have formulated legislated to this effect and we will do our utmost to apply it.”
