Spain’s female workers were first to go on strike on International Women’s Day on 08 March 2018 (c.f. article No.10592) with five million answering that call. This year a hundred or so feminist organizations have called for a re-run of last year’s events and once again have support of the UGT and CCCO trade union bodies, which have called for a two-hour work stoppage.
