The ANDST - national association for victims of industrial accidents - denounced the proposals included in the 88/X bill which updates the effective legislation on industrial accidents, to take into account some practices and some recent judgments. Even if the bill does not transform the existing system, the association, representing 4.000 victims, sees in these legislative validations the government's will to favour insurance companies. The bill mostly includes changes in terms of the rehabilitation of the worker who experienced an industrial accident. Indeed, it obliges the employer to take the necessary measures in terms of training to enable the victim to be able to perform another job when they are no longer able to perform their usual activity.
