On 24 March, the French auto manufacturer together with a special negotiation body (SNB) signed a new Group Works Council agreement. “It was a question of providing our agreement with a stable legal and representative basis and the instrument for this was the SNB,” explained Tristan Lormeau, Corporate HR Director, to Planet Labor.
- What was the context surrounding the notion of establishing an SNB in order to negotiate a new EWC agreement (cf. article n°9582)?
Tristan Lormeau. Last year we undertook negotiations to consolidate our agreement that dates back to 1993 including its eight addendums into a single text. This was to make the contents more readable and easier to explain to Renault’s employees and employee representatives.
