On January 29, the reinsurance group together with the Common European Companies Committee (SCOR comprises three European Companies – Societas Europeae) signed a charter on professional equality. The charter forms the basis that defines common values for all the countries across Europe and in Switzerland in which the group has a presence. It contains objectives, policies and initiatives for the three-year period between 2014-2017 that aim to bring about real diversity.
This Charter is the result of work carried out together by European personnel representatives and SCOR management. In an internal document distributed by SCOR that presents the Charter, Roberta Iorizzo-Fard, European Committee representative at the board of Directors, was especially involved in the negotiations and states : “Having worked side by side with HR for the first time, instead of a mere consultation role, we have actively taken part in the production of this Charter.” As...
