The CCOO and UGT trade unions have signed a protocol with Telefónica's management containing health and safety standards aimed at both securing employee protection for when the Covid-19 state of alert is lifted and ensuring that business resumes alongside the best guarantees over employee health. The protocol provides for a four-stage resumption of activity depending on how the health situation develops, with very precise rules on working conditions set out for each stage.
Teleworking. The protocol provides for the very gradual reintegration of employees so that the environment and individual mobility arrangements can be adapted to the new health constraints. It provides for a four-phase return to normality at work, as well as maintaining teleworking arrangements for employees with children under 15 years of age whose schools are closed, and for those who belong to ‘at-risk’ groups because of age or underlying health conditions.
