A majority of the 134 workers in the Commercial Vehicle Group plant in Piedmont voted 2 to 1 in favor of joining the UAW. Union representatives will soon be able to start wage negotiations with management at the auto parts maker. The Commercial Vehicle Group makes seats for large commercial trucks.
