According to Patrick Chalhoub, C.E.O. of the high-end retailer Chalhoub Group, retail rents are about to face a downward trend in the United Arab Emirates. “You cannot have a situation where rents are based on retailers’ sales, increasing when sales rise but not adjusting when revenue falls.
