The Galeries Lafayette department store operator will open a 2nd unit by March 2019 in the Pudong vicinity of Shanghai, serving a population of 25 million inhabitants. Similar to the initial store opened in Beijing in 2013, it will operate as a 50/50 joint venture betweenGaleries Lafayette and I.T, the fashion brand management company headquartered in Hong Kong.
