What is an assessment of second-hand potential at Petit Bateau?
At Petit Bateau, we have been providing second-hand services for 130 years because our products are of high quality. In the past, trading of second-hand items was within a family. Now it is on a platform like Vinted which has 4 million Petit Bateau products for sale right now. As a brand, we must be active and visible in this segment, which will increase from 5% to 10% of the fashion market today to 25% in 2030. In 2017, Petit Bateau launched second-hand as a C2C service, but pilot was not successful. Since 2021, the collection of second-hand clothes has been 100% in a store, by our staff.
