Founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad who died in January 2018, the Swedish furniture group is “creating the Ikea of the future”, said the company when publishing 2018 financial results on October 10th. Ikea franchisee’s retail sales reported a 4.5% rise from 1st September to 31st August.
