ChatGPT is now the most adopted tool by retailers, with a rate of 71%, compared to 60% for MistralAI, 51% for Perplexity and 44% for Claude. “OpenAI has established itself as an entry point, the study summarises. In parallel, Mistral and Claude fill specific needs regarding costs, translation and data confidentiality requirements.” Midjourney passing the 50% mark signals that the creation of AI-generated visual content is, according to Najar, “no longer experimental, but indeed widespread.
