After losing ManoMano and Boulanger in recent months, retail media specialist Criteo announced on October 8 a new partnership with U.S. department stores’ Belk (2023 sales of US$3.1 billion, down 6% year-on-year). The struggling retailer, controlled by KKR and Hein Park, will use Commerce Yield, Criteo’s monetisation platform, to sponsor products and advertising space in 300 points of sale over 16 states in the South-East. The partnership will be expanded to other formats in 2025.
