According to Sky News, private equity firm Aurelius is close to taking over The Body Shop (3,000 stores worldwide with 10,000 employees). Following the sale of Aesop to L’Oréal, at a valuation of 4.66 times sales level, Brazilian owner Natura & Co had initiated the selling process of The Body Shop in August 2023.
