After developing bulk in 2019, Marks & Spencer launched on 1 June “M&S Refillable”, a range of private label refillable household cleaning products (cleaning sprays, fabric softeners, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, etc.).

A deposit of €2.34 (£2) is required, and once the empty bottles are returned to the store, customers receive a voucher for the same amount, valid for the range. M&S will clean and refill the bottles before returning them to the shelf. The trial, which involves
