Five years after the acquisition of Westfield, URW is accelerating a sale of assets in the U.S.A. to reduce debts.
At the end of December, the property company Unibail Rodamco Westfield completed two mall disposals in quick succession. These were The Village near Los Angeles (600,000 sq.m) for US$325 million, and in a joint sale, Westfield Trumbull (125,000 sq.m) and Westfield South Shore (94,400 sq.m) in a US$196-million deal.
