Fashion retailer Gemo, part of the Eram group, adapted logistic tools to embrace a circularity journey for rental services. Jean-Louis Borde, Supply-Chain Director, explained adoption of the new version of Manhattan Active's Warehouse Management System (WMS), which is currently deployed.

Why have you chosen the new version of the Manhattan Active Warehouse Management System (WMS)?

Since 2013, Gemo had been using the previous version of Manhattan Associates’ WMS, which had become outdated. 10 years after a first release the service was full of ‘specific’ features and was becoming obsolete. This new version has the advantage of being cloud native, which means that the functionalities evolve fluidly each quarter. There is no longer a published “end-of-life” for the software. We needed to adapt the tool to our business requirements, in particular the need to manage increased demand for omnichannel purchases.…
