The European federation of metallurgists (EFM) set up, January 20, 2006, in Brussels, a European coordination group of trade unions within the U.S. automobile equipment supplier Delphi. (Ref. 0669)
At a meeting which gathered together representatives of the FEM, the international Federation of metallurgists (IMF), the members of the European work council and employees’ representatives from six countries in which Delphi is established, participants set up a of trade-union coordination group in order to “defend the interests of employees during the reorganization process”, explains the FEM.
